Bio·Reaction Industries researched and developed a sustainable, low capital investment, low operating and maintenance cost solution for controlling emissions from industrial processes. This innovative system is based on over 10 years of biotechnology product experience.
The Bio·AIRVENT® is an automatically controlled, modular, vapor-phase bio-oxidation system for the capture and breakdown of VOCs into respiratory levels of carbon dioxide and water vapor.
The system can be designed in either fiberglass (FRP), concrete or stainless steel construction and sized to accommodate most compounds and any process airflow required. This versatile design can be expanded to meet required removal efficiencies, and assist facilities that want to increase production capacities, are faced with upcoming Clean Air Act requirements, or facility air permit reviews.
Our systems are successfully utilized in the following industries: Wood Products, Paint Manufacturing, Paint Applicators, High Tech, Pulp & Paper Processes, Animal Processing, Food Manufacturing, Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facilities, Petroleum Contamination Sites, Wastewater Treatment Processes, and more.
Bio·Reaction also has a line of systems for smaller point source applications. Placing several small systems within a facility versus pulling the air volume from an entire facility for pollution control provides an economical and convenient way to reduce VOCs and odors from the source. In addition to saving the hassle and expense of complicated piping and heating controls for an entire facility, this method provides pollution control redundancy in the event one system is undergoing maintenance.
These compact systems are ideal for off-gas emission applications such as: process vents, storage tanks, chemical and paint mixing tanks, petroleum or natural gas applications, as well as odor reduction applications.
