Bio·Reaction Industries, LLC Announces its winning of an award from Environmental Business Journal for Business Achievement in 2006
February 1, 2007 [Portland, OR] - Bio·Reaction Industries recently received an award from Environmental Business Journal for its achievements in international business development for 2006.
Most notable in 2006, BioReaction expanded its operations into Asia with the execution of two partnership agreements allowing sales and distribution into mainland China, Taiwan, Hong-Kong, and Japan. These partnership ventures are allowing the company to service a rapidly expanding market with significant air emissions needs.
"The rapidly expanding Asian, particularly Chinese, markets are seeing much greater demand for environmentally friendly, sustainable solutions for industrial process and odor vents. BioReaction has been working closely with international partners for almost two years to establish the proper channels, both distribution and marketing, to bring its leading bio-oxidation technology to this underserved market" said Eric Mott, Vice President and Director of International Operations for BioReaction. "The culmination of these contracts is a critical turning point in BioReaction's success as a business and a global market leader in biofiltration technology."
Asian markets are currently seeking bio-oxidation technology to lower operating and maintenance costs of remediation, due largely to the rising expenses of fossil-fuel based destruction systems.
BioReaction will accept their 2006 EBJ Business Achievement Award at a banquet Wednesday evening February 28, 2007 during the fifth annual Environmental Industry Summit in Coronado near San Diego that runs February 28- March 2, 2007.
Bio-Reaction Industries, LLC (BRI) pioneered a new generation of environmentally friendly air pollution control systems that utilize microbes to digest industrial pollutants and odors. Based in Tualatin, Oregon, BRI's advanced bio-oxidation systems cost dramatically less than thermal oxidizers to operate, do not produce additional greenhouse gases (such as CO2, NOx, SOx) and deliver the highest removal efficiency of any air phase bio technology in the world.
