Bio·Reaction Industries has taken an age-old technology utilized in Europe for decades and transformed traditional bio-filtration into a modular, reliable, cost-effective bio-oxidation solution for VOC and odor control for a variety of applications in both industrial and municipal facilities.
BRI was established in November, 1993, in Tualatin, Oregon, to research, develop, manufacture and market products that biologically digest volatile organic compounds (VOCs) created by a variety of generators utilizing patented biotechnologies.
During the early years, Bio·Reaction focused on educating local, state, and federal regulators about its innovative technology. Additionally, several bio-filtration systems were installed at beta test sites to debug the product and ensure there were no long term product reliability issues.
Bio·Reaction's extensive research and product testing in actual industrial settings has provided the data necessary to support correlations in varying system and process parameters and to streamline sizing and removal efficiency requirements.
The past few years, Bio·Reaction products have been placed in a variety of new markets, spanning the industrial VOC arena. We are now expanding our odor control product solutions. These installations have validated the ability of bio-oxidation to provide a reliable, sustainable pollution control alternative.
Commencing in 2006, Bio·Reaction has begun its expansion into global markets, including Asia, Europe, and the Middle East to address growing demand for sustainable, cost effective remediation. BioReaction now has representative partnerships in each of these territories, and is growing further everyday.
In 2002, the company was the recipient of the Development Stage Company of the Year by the Oregon Entrepreneur's Forum and was a semi-finalist for the Working Capital Stage Company of the year for 2006.
Bio·Reaction Industries brings together a highly experienced management team that specialized in pollution control, engineering, construction, operations, sales and marketing. The team has created a line of products that achieve the highest removal efficiency of air pollutants in the world. Each member continues to focus on technological advancements that are changing the air pollution control industry.
Bio·Reaction has formed alliances with several universities such as Texas A&M, University of Texas, and LSU that conduct research focused on bio-oxidation to assist with research and development, government agency interactions, and product legitimization.
Bio·Reaction has received notable recognition for their innovative, environmentally beneficial bio-oxidation technology.
